Faith & Hope – Treatment
Your heroin addiction treatment should include FAITH. You must have faith in yourself and in God. To be your own hero, you must believe in your heart that you can conquer this very powerful strong-hold of opioid addiction in your life.
All you have to do is PRAY and ask God for help with your Heroin/Opioid addiction. He will be there to help you. You have nothing to lose if you are at ‘rock-bottom’ in withdrawals. You do not need to be a member of a church or signed up under some religion to speak to God. Just do it. He loves and cares about you.
It helps if you read the Bible:
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that
he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
(Hebrews 11:6, NIV)
God is a Rewarder – If You Have Faith
God is a rewarder! Notice this verse doesn’t say that God rewards those who “deserve” it or have “earned” it. It doesn’t say that God rewards those who act perfectly and never make mistakes. No, God’s blessing isn’t based on our performance, it’s based on our faith—our belief in Him and His goodness. In fact, one verse says that He longs to be good to those who are looking for His goodness.
Spend time today meditating on His goodness and dwelling on His faithfulness. Read His Word and spend time in the Psalms. Praise and thank Him for all He is doing and what He will do in your life. Let His Word shape your thoughts; and remember, He is a rewarder! Because He is good, He wants to bless you when you earnestly seek after Him!
A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for filling my heart and mind with faith. You are good, and You are a rewarder. I choose to put my trust in You knowing that You have blessings in store for my future in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
If you have a testimony about how God helped you through addiction, please share below. We need to encourage people who are struggling that there is HOPE. I was once deep-down in despair during my Fentanyl Opioid addiction detox and rehab phase and all that I had to stand on was Faith & Hope in God. He got me through and I have fully recovered. I am now successful and the same can happen for you. There are endless opportunities for you once you kick the opioid habit.
Or, if you need help, please ask.
