HeroIn Me – Description
“Who thought to put the word HERO into Heroin?”
The only word that is remotely positive when you see the word HEROIN is ‘h e r o’.
When you think of a “hero” we usually refer to someone at war who rushes in to save their fellow soldiers while putting their life in danger. Or, a hero is someone who goes into a burning house to rescue his neighbor. Heros are what we know them to be. It takes great strength, determination, smarts, selflessness, love and kindness to be a natural hero. I do believe that each one of us has a “hero” inside.
After my experience opioids, I came to realize that the only person who could get me out of being an addict and fully recover was —-> myself! Only I can do it. I have to be in control again. I also realized that it was gong to take determination, great strength, kindness and loving myself again to beat this addiction. Sound familiar? I was going to have to be my own Hero to win against opioid addiction because it is that powerful of an evil force.
This site is named Heroin Me to remind every struggling addict that there is a hero inside you. You must tap into that heroism in order to beat addiction. No one can do it for you.
